Today there is a lot of attention on bullying, and in many
cases rightly so. I just read an article
where an elderly lady who is a bus monitor, probably not any longer, was
bullied by the students for at least the length of the video taken, which was
10 minutes. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75VD-L0SDac). I warn you, if you watch this it has strong
language and will make you very angry, or at least I hope it would.
People of all ages, all races and both sexes are bullied
for various reasons, and the results can be catastrophic. We hear all the time that students kill
themselves because they just could not take the bullying, or they get vengeance
by going on killing sprees. Many start purging, cutting, acting out and many other manifestations. Bullying definitely has impact on our youth, especially the defenseless.
Today there is a movement to stop this and help those that
cannot necessarily help themselves because they are alone when bullied. We are trying to help those who cannot for
one reason or another help themselves in these situations because of the
predicament.
When we are trying to stop bullying we are trying to stop
those who use their power to affect the life of another human being in a
negative way. We don’t want people to
use their influence or power to negatively affect someone else in a hurtful or
demonstrative manner. We are trying to
protect the “innocent.”
Unless that innocent person resides in the womb, than we can
bully them all we want without recourse.
We can take their life and they have no say what so ever. A baby in the womb is the most “innocent,”
helpless life that has done nothing to no one, and yet we make laws that allow
us to bully them (kill them) with no recourse or outcry. How can this be?
Seriously, think about it.
The poor woman was called all kinds of names on the bus and terrorized
for at least 10 minutes, and the public reaction has been awesome at this
heinous act, but she got to wake up in the morning and the kids are going to be
punished. A baby in the womb gets
murdered by an abortion and nothing.
That life is lost, does not get to wake up and instead of public
distaste, there are laws saying, go for it.
We tell people not to bully others, but do we actually walk
that walk as a nation, when we make laws protecting some of the worst kind of
bullying that happens in our society.
The killing of the innocent.
