I think the final lines were the most important: "As believers, we call upon you to join the effort to share the gospel message with the changing world. This is a call to action." Neither the Gospel nor Christ's commands have changed, nor will they change. It is our responsibility to make disciples of ALL nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them all that Christ has commanded. However it would be foolish not to address the implications of a cultural shift in the ways that we live out those commands. It's not a doomsday scenario. Christ's church will endure. The light shines in the darkness and the darkness cannot overcome it. That isn't to say that there will not be trials or persecution, but we must remain obedient to our Lord through it all.
